So, choose your fixtures and lights according to your taste but don’t purchase anything in haste. Depending on the use of lighting our room can either look small or large. For example, you can use light on the side walls to give it a larger look. Using light on the ceiling can make the room look bigger.

Living Rooms: Attach a picture light to highlight the framed art pieces. You can also place a lamp atop every reader. Accent lights should be used to highlight the book shelves or display shelves. Dimmers can be used on the walls to enhance their color.
